Jordan Ovanic is organizing a food and supply drive to help support the efforts of Illinois Valley Animal Rescue (IVAR). Illinois Valley Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit corporation organized to prevent the cruelty to, rescue of, care for and relocation of stray & abandoned animals. Following is a wish list for IVAR:
- Canned dog food, any kind. This is one of IVAR’s biggest needs.
- Purina cat chow (blue bag). This is a really important one too.
- Liquid laundry detergent (any kind)
- Cat litter, clumping.
- Rope toys
- Cleaning supplies – bleach, paper towels, mops, etc.
- Toilet paper
- Bottled water for volunteers
- Stamps for thank you notes
- Blankets, towels, and sheets (These can be new or used)
If you can help IVAR in any way by providing items(s) on their wish list, please drop them off at either of the Waltham buildings. Donations will be accepted at Waltham May 1-May 14. Please remember that donations can also be dropped off at IVAR anytime in the blue bin outside the building.
The classroom from each building that donates the largest number of supplies will win an ice cream party.
