It’s official! Devyn, Bentley, Bronko, Damien, Mason, and Jude qualified for state! They will compete at the state track meet this weekend in Peoria.
Shout out to all the athletes that competed at sectionals. Everyone gave it their all and we had a lot of PRs! Every single athlete should be proud of what they accomplished this track season!

On Monday, May 13th at 9:00 am, a meeting conducted by the Waltham Elementary School District #185 will take place. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools or are home-schooled within district boundaries for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are a parent of a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Waltham School District #185, you are urged to attend. This meeting does not pertain to students who currently have an IEP within the district. If you have further questions regarding this meeting, please contact Mrs. Kristi Eager at (815) 667-4417.

We had a little celebration parade for our amazing bowlers this past Saturday! We are so proud of you all❤️🎳🖤










Over break, Mrs. Lukacsy visited Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital to deliver over 200 cards that Waltham students made for hospitalized children during their Heart Health activities held in February. Amanda Snyder, Nurse Coordinator for the Single Ventricle Center of Excellence, accepted the cards. With the help of the child-life specialist team, these cards will be distributed throughout the facility spreading smiles and sunshine to kids who need it most!


We will be holding our Junior High Dance on Friday, April 12th, right after school! The dance is open to all Waltham 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.


A special shout out to alumni, Isabelle Andrews, who received the Illinois Principals Association John Ourth Student Excellence Award as an 8th grader, and received it again as a senior at LP this year! Way to go Isabelle; your Waltham family is proud of you!


Congratulations to our 8th graders, Ava B. and Grant H., who were this year's Illinois Principals Association John Ourth Student Excellence Award recipients! These two students are leaders in our school. They shine inside and outside of the classroom!
